Four Business Development Manager openings
Fexr is hiring four Business Development Managers. Each one owns a single customer segment, and there are five segments to choose from. The role covers the full cycle: prospecting, qualification, demos, negotiation and close. You would sell self-custody trading on Hyperliquid and per-query market intelligence to funds, protocols, token teams and builders. Each hire reports to a co-founder.
is the price of a Snapshot query on the Fexr Markets Basic plan, paid in USDC. There is no contract, no seat licence and no procurement cycle. A buyer can evaluate the product one query at a time.

Custody and access are unbundled
Most trading platforms require a user to transfer funds to the platform before placing an order. Most data terminals require an annual contract before answering a single question.
Fexr separates both. Funds remain in the user's own wallet under a capped, revocable trading permission, and execution happens on Hyperliquid. Intelligence is priced per query: a Snapshot query costs $0.50, paid in USDC over x402, with no account and no contract.
This changes the sales conversation. The argument is about a purchasing model the incumbents do not currently offer, rather than about price against a comparable product.
x402 payments have settled since May 2025. Each one is a stablecoin transfer over plain HTTP, with no account and no subscription. x402 is the payment layer under every Fexr Markets query.

What you would be selling
Self-custody trading on Hyperliquid, funded with USDC via Arbitrum, where withdrawals can only return to the user's own wallet. Strategy templates that show their backtest results and copy counts before anyone commits. Market intelligence across crypto, stocks & ETFs, and commodities, priced per query with no subscription.
For the buyers who need volume: an Enterprise plan at $2,500/year with no per-query fees, continuous token tracking, listing monitoring, and AI Deep Research. For token projects: market making software licenses — flat fee, non-custodial, no profit share, no keys held. For builders: a DPoP-secured REST API with replay-safe webhooks, and LLM Skills that generate a working app from a description.

Terms of the role
Four things that define the role a year in.
You own the function
There is no middle management layer and no handoff to a separate closer. You scope the function, run it, and carry the number for it.
Equity and base salary
Every full-time hire receives an equity stake alongside a competitive base salary. The specific range is discussed on the intro call, once we know your level.
Short decision chains
You report to a co-founder and work alongside the engineers. Pricing exceptions, custom scopes and integration requests are answered in the same conversation.
Remote, no location requirement
There is no location requirement and no return-to-office clause in the contract. Overlap with Middle East, Southeast Asia or European hours is useful but not required.
Open roles
All four seats carry the same job title. They differ by which customers you sell to. Choose the segment where your strongest deals already sit.
Own deal flow end to end in your segment: prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, close. There is no separate closer, no SDR layer filtering inbound, and no shared quota. Each of the four hires carries an individual number.
There are five segments and four seats. Name the one you would focus on in the application and the first call is scoped around it. Naming one segment does not exclude you from the others.
Enterprise Sales
Close funds, prop desks and token teams on the Enterprise plan: $2,500 per year for a dedicated market data layer with no per-query fees. Annual contracts.
Protocol & DEX Partnerships
Structure data-sharing and co-marketing agreements with protocols, DEXs, and Layer-2s that want Fexr's intelligence embedded in their own product surface.
Token Teams & Treasury
Work with token issuers and treasury teams that need continuous listing monitoring, unlock forecasts and smart-money flow tracking.
Liquidity & Market Making
Sell and structure market making software licenses to token projects that need algorithmic quoting driven by live intelligence. Flat license, non-custodial, no profit share.
API & Integration Sales
Close integration deals with builders embedding Fexr market data into their own apps, dashboards, and AI agents over the DPoP-secured REST API and webhooks.
How the work runs
The operating details of the role.
Scope
What the role coversThe full cycle
You run the whole cycle for your segment: sourcing pipeline, positioning the product, holding pricing conversations and closing. A deal stays with you from first contact to signature.
Account selection
You choose which accounts to approach and in what order. Territory is not assigned, and the reasoning behind the order is yours to defend.
Direct access to engineering
To scope a custom integration you speak to the engineer who would build it, usually within the same week.
Declining deals
You can decline a deal that does not fit. A poor-fit contract costs more to service over two quarters than it returns, and the decision to walk away is yours.
Pace
How decisions moveApprovals
Pricing exceptions and pilot scopes are approved in conversation with a co-founder. There is no approval committee and no written business case.
Feedback reaches the product
Objections you hear on calls reach the engineers within days. Recurring ones become product changes you can point to on the next call.
Stage and constraints
Fexr has a live product and paying usage. It also has a small team and finite runway. Both conditions are real and both are worth weighing.
External representation
You represent Fexr at conferences, side events and Twitter Spaces, including where no engineer is present. The technical material is prepared for you.
Evaluation
How performance is measuredWhat is counted
Performance is measured on signed contracts, live integrations and partnerships that reach their first renewal. Call volume and calendar activity are not tracked.
Forecast accuracy
Report a deal as slipping when it is slipping. Downgrading a forecast carries no penalty; a number held up to look healthy costs more to correct later.
Claims must be verifiable
Every product claim you make has to be one a technical buyer can check. The documentation and data behind the claims are provided to you.
Ramp time
Institutional and protocol sales cycles run for quarters. Evaluation follows the length of the cycle rather than a 30-day quota.
Common questions
Answered here so you can rule the role out on your own time.
A competitive base salary, an equity stake and commission on closed deals. The exact range is given on the intro call once we understand your level. We do not ask for your current number first.
A co-founder, directly. These are founding-team seats with full visibility into strategy and a direct line to whoever makes product decisions.
No. The role is remote with no location requirement. Overlap with Middle East, Southeast Asia or European hours is useful but is not required.
Three steps: we read your application, a 30-minute intro call, then a working session on a current problem from our pipeline. There is no multi-round loop and no weekend take-home.
The product is live and generating revenue: self-custody trading on Hyperliquid, pay-per-query intelligence, and an Enterprise plan in pilots. The team is small.
Yes. These are full-time seats with a defined scope, equity and a stated performance track. We are not hiring fractional advisors or retainer arrangements.

What happens next
-
1
A founder reads it
Applications are read by a founder rather than screened by keyword. You hear back within 3 business days with a pass or a next step.
-
2
30-minute intro call
Your questions come first, then what you have done, what you are looking for, and whether the scope and compensation match it.
-
3
A working session
You take a current problem from our pipeline and walk us through your approach. It shows how you work, and it shows you what the role involves.
Questions before you apply
There is no closing date. Each of the four seats closes when it is filled. If something is stopping you from applying, ask us about it directly rather than guessing.
If you are unsure which segment fits, select “happy to discuss” in the form above and describe what you have closed.
Before you apply
