Getting Started
What Fexr is and what you need to begin.
01.What is Fexr and who is it for?
Fexr is a social onchain trading platform with market intelligence. Individual traders follow leaderboards, copy strategy templates with real backtest stats, and trade on Hyperliquid from their own wallets under capped, revocable permissions. Alongside trading, Fexr Markets delivers on-demand intelligence across crypto, stocks & ETFs, and commodities — included in Fexr Plus and Fexr Desk, or bought per call as add-ons on Fexr Free.
02.What do I need to start trading?
Download the Fexr Wallet app (iOS or Android), connect your own wallet, and fund it with USDC via Arbitrum. Set a spending cap you're comfortable with and you're ready to trade on Hyperliquid. No account handover, no minimums.
03.Where do trades actually execute?
On Hyperliquid, one of the deepest onchain markets. Trades are funded with USDC moved via the Arbitrum network, and withdrawals can only go back to your own wallet.
04.Do I need to be a crypto expert?
No. Signals arrive with plain-English risk summaries, strategy templates show their backtest results before you commit, and the trading agent lets you say what you want in plain English, previewing the order and waiting for your confirmation before it executes.
05.Which markets can I trade?
Trading executes on Hyperliquid's onchain markets. Market intelligence goes wider: reports cover crypto, stocks & ETFs, and commodities.
Custody & Safety
Who holds what, and what protects you.
06.Who holds my funds?
You do. Your funds never leave your wallet. You grant Fexr a capped, revocable trading permission — set a spending cap, revoke it anytime. Fexr is never a custodian.
07.What is the spending cap and how do I change it?
The cap is the maximum the trading permission can use — you set it when you connect and can raise it, lower it, or revoke the permission entirely at any time from the app.
08.Can a trade happen without me tapping approve?
Yes, and that is what setting limits is for. Ask the assistant for a trade and it previews in plain English before executing. Strategies and autonomous goal sessions (early access) act on their triggers without waiting for a tap — a stop-loss that waits for a tap is not a stop-loss — but only inside the spending cap, position size, leverage and loss floor you set, and every order is checked against them before it reaches the market. You can require your approval above a size you choose, and pause, revoke, or exit anytime.
09.What security is in place?
Sessions use device-bound authentication, every action is audit-logged, and wallet addresses are screened against sanctions lists. Withdrawals can only go back to your own wallet.
10.Is trading on Fexr risk-free?
No. Self-custody protects you from platform risk, but trading still involves market risk. Backtest stats describe the past, not the future — only trade what you can afford to lose.
Copy Trading & Signals
Following traders, copying strategies, and the AI assistant.
11.How does copying a strategy work?
Traders publish strategy templates with backtest results and copy counts. You copy one with a tap and it runs under your own spending cap and limits — every order is checked before it reaches the market. Fexr does not mirror another person's live trades.
12.How do I know if a strategy is any good?
Every template shows its backtest results and how many traders have copied it. Leaderboards rank traders by verified performance — no screenshots, no vibes. Past performance doesn't guarantee the future, but you never copy blind.
13.Do the traders I follow control my money?
No. They publish strategies and signals — they never touch your funds. Everything you copy runs from your own wallet, under your own cap, with your own confirmations.
14.What does the trading agent do?
You tell it what you want in plain English — it prepares the order, shows you a preview with a plain-English risk summary, and executes only after you confirm. It works from the same AI signal feed available across Fexr.
15.How do signals reach me?
Via push notification, Telegram, or email — each with a plain-English risk summary. Act on them yourself, or let a strategy or session act on them — never outside the limits you set.
Market Intelligence & Pricing
Reports, x402 per-query pricing, and how Fexr makes money.
16.What is Fexr market intelligence?
Signals and reports across crypto, stocks & ETFs, and commodities — sentiment, listings, on-chain metrics and more. They come with Fexr Plus and Fexr Desk, or per call as add-ons on Fexr Free.
17.How is market intelligence priced?
Fexr Market Intelligence is a terminal of 26 intelligence products covering market data, protocol fundamentals, token unlocks, smart-money flow, governance, and AI research across 88+ assets. People get them through Fexr Plus ($15/month, with 5 insight reports per week) or Fexr Desk ($2,500/year for organizations, unlimited within fair use). On Fexr Free, each endpoint is a pay-per-call add-on in USDC or USDT via x402 on Base mainnet — from $0.01 (Asset Metrics) to $2.00 (Deep Research reports) per call, with no subscription. AI agents use the same add-ons over MCP with no account or API key.
18.How does Fexr make money?
Three ways: a percentage of trading fees, a percentage of swap fees, and paid plans — Fexr Plus for individuals at $15/month and Fexr Desk for organizations at $2,500/year.
19.Is there a free tier?
Yes. Fexr Free is free for all, forever: the wallet, trading, swaps, strategies, the Trading Agent, vaults and referrals. Insights are not included, but you can buy any report or signal as a pay-per-call add-on over x402, from $0.01 a call. Fexr Plus includes them.
Free, Plus and Desk
What each plan includes and who it's for.
20.What is the difference between Plus and Desk?
Both include every insight feature: market and predictive signals, AI Copilot answers, token tracking, institutional events and on-chain metrics across crypto, stocks & ETFs, and commodities. Plus, at $15 a month, gives one person 5 insight reports per week, 30 Copilot answers a day, 10 alerts, 3 watchlists and API access at 1,000 requests a day. Desk, at $2,500/year, is the organizational workspace: SSO and roles, one key per agent with a signed audit trail, the REST API, background monitoring and unlimited reports within fair use.
21.Who is each plan for?
Free is the underlying trading platform, with intelligence available per call. Plus is for individuals who want more context and research capacity. Desk is for teams, funds and businesses that need a shared workspace, integrations, security controls and an audit trail.
22.How do I get a free month of Plus?
Two ways. Refer friends: when five of them each deposit $10 and you earn your first $25 referral reward, a month of Fexr Plus is added to your account. Or join through a friend's link: when your deposits reach $100, you get a month of Fexr Plus, which renews at $15 a month unless you cancel.
23.How do I upgrade?
Open app.fexr.io and pick Plus or Desk. Payment is USDC or USDT on Base; Plus renews monthly from your Fexr credit or with a reminder, and you can cancel any time. Compare the plans at fexr.io/plans; for team or procurement questions, contact [email protected].
Builders & API
Integrating Fexr into your own stack.
24.What can I build on Fexr?
A full REST API covers trading signals, market data, and account activity, with replay-safe webhooks for real-time events. Developer docs and getting-started guides are at fexr.io/getting-started-api.
25.How does API authentication work?
Fexr uses device-bound tokens (DPoP) alongside API keys: an intercepted token is useless without the private key that signs each request, so credentials can't be replayed from another device. Every API action is audit-logged.
26.Is there a sandbox?
Yes — a sandbox environment mirrors production behavior so you can test integrations without live transactions. See the getting-started guide for setup.
27.Where is Fexr incorporated?
Fexr is incorporated in the DMCC Free Zone, Dubai, UAE, as a technology company. The platform is non-custodial: your funds stay in your own wallet, under a capped, revocable permission you control.
