Ledger Nano X / S+

  • Works with Fexr on iOS, Android, and browser
  • Signs order confirmations, permission grants, and withdrawals
  • Compatible with Ledger Live accounts (import via WalletConnect)

NFC Card Wallets

Tap your NFC card wallet to sign transactions. No USB, no cable — hold the card to your phone and confirm.

  • Tangem (2-card and 3-card sets) — tap-to-sign on iOS and Android
  • CoolWallet S / Pro — Bluetooth pairing for mobile signing
  • Fexr detects NFC wallets automatically on supported devices
  • NFC signing works for all Fexr operations: deposits, trades, withdrawals

Passkeys & FIDO2 Auth Keys

Use biometric passkeys (Face ID, fingerprint) or physical FIDO2 keys (YubiKey) to authorize Fexr transactions. No seed phrase needed.

  • Apple Face ID / Touch ID passkeys on iOS
  • Android biometric passkeys
  • YubiKey and compatible FIDO2 hardware keys
  • Passkey-gated spending cap: re-authenticate to change your cap

Fexr Never Asks for Your Seed Phrase

  • Fexr requests a capped, revocable spending permission — not access to your private keys.
  • Your cold wallet hardware-signs the permission grant. Fexr never sees the underlying key.
  • Revoke the permission anytime from the Fexr app or directly from your wallet.

Pair Your Device

Select your device type (Ledger, NFC card, or passkey). Follow the on-screen pairing flow. Ledger: scan the WalletConnect QR. NFC: tap your card when prompted.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about using cold wallets and passkeys with Fexr.

01. Does Fexr support all Ledger models?

Ledger Nano X and Nano S+ are fully supported. Nano S (original) works via USB with the browser extension. The Ledger Stax is compatible via Bluetooth.

Tangem (2-card and 3-card sets) and CoolWallet Pro are confirmed compatible. CoolWallet S works via Bluetooth. More NFC wallets are added regularly — check the in-app device list.

Yes. Passkeys (Apple Face ID, Android fingerprint, or physical FIDO2 keys) can replace a hardware wallet for transaction signing. Passkeys store securely in your device's secure enclave.

Your Fexr trading permission is separate from your cold wallet. Revoke the permission immediately from any device, then restore your cold wallet using its seed phrase on a new device and reconnect.

Yes. The spending cap applies regardless of signing method. Your cold wallet signs the cap grant itself, and only you can modify it.

Yes. Connect via WalletConnect (for Ledger and NFC wallets) or via the browser's WebAuthn API (for passkeys) at app.fexr.io.
